Denver, Colorado Part III

One of the things Jerry wanted to do while he was in Denver was to climb a mountain.   So we took a road trip to Idaho Springs with Darcy & Rory and Jenna.  We had lunch there, played at the playground and walked around the town. Then we drove to Echo Lake and walked some trails.  

It was beautiful and Jerry loved it.

He got to climb his mountain.

(And sometimes when nature calls you just have to go.)

 And I got some good sister time:)

Denver, Colorado Part II

We stayed with our good friends, Darcy & Rory and their little guy Cooper.  

They made us feel so at home it was hard to leave.

We loved spending time with Baby Cooper.

Darcy's parents own a cabin by Jackson Lake and we spent a weekend out there.

The water is really low but it was still fun walking in the sand and playing in the water.

Jerry loved the tire swing and playing in the hot tub.

Denver, Colorado Part 1

We got to attend one of my Best Friends wedding.  Lindsay and Tom are such an awesome couple.  They are going to have a wonderful life together.  The wedding was one of the prettiest and most simple weddings we been to, it was a perfect day.  

They also married on our Anniversary day, August 30th.

I didn't get any pictures of me and Jacob on our Anniversary but this was the last one we took together.

It's been an amazing 10 years together already and we still have so much to look forward to.

Holly, Colorado

After Wichita we went to Holly to visit family and friends.

We spent time with Great Gran.  

She is such an amazing women and means the world to Jacob. 

Jerry found a playground outside Great Grans Room.

Spent time with Grandma Alice and Grandma Mickey.  

I have such great memories because of these two beautiful ladies.  

We were the luckiest kids to have both our Grandmas a block apart.

The hardest part was leaving my mom and dad.  

I couldn't ask for better parents and I am so grateful for having them in my life.

After all the good-byes it didn't take long for this boy to fall asleep in the car.

Leaving Wichita

After 10 years we said good-bye to Wichita.

We made some really good friends that we hope to always keep in touch with.

Jerry will always love his Lainie and the boys.  

Kourtney was there when Jerry was born and will always have a special place in my heart.

Miss Bre and Kinley are such wonderful girls.  Always making us smile and entertaining Jerry.

Kinley has such a BIG heart. 

Friends become just like family. We love you all!

Jerry's 5th Birthday

Our boy turned 5!  It's so crazy how fast time has gone. 

We celebrated his birthday in Holly this year with a Pirate birthday party.

Grandma and Grandpa rented the pool and we had a picnic at the pool park before the party.

Jerry has always wanted a piñata and got one for his birthday this year.

We got to celebrate with lots of friends and family. It was a lot of fun.

Then we hung out at Grandma's and played outside.

There was even a little kiddie carnival in town.

Family photos are always a must before everyone leaves.
