Grandpa Kalma gave Jerry a Harley t-shirt that he thought would come close to fitting him...not quite yet Grandpa. Maybe next summer. We don't want him growing up any faster than he is.

Moms First Day Away
I had to work for Jake on Monday so my mom came up for the weekend and stayed until Tuesday so she could watch Jerry for us. My mom really enjoyed it. She would have to bring Jerry to the clinic when it was time for him to eat, which was often. She spent a lot of time there, which Jake's patients loved. So many of them were wanting to see Jerry. It was kinda hard leaving him in the morning and the gaps in between seeing him seemed really long. I couldn't wait to feed him. It makes me even more grateful that I get to stay home with him. I'm very lucky. But the day went fine and my mom was great with him. It would have been really difficult without her.

Hiccups
Jerry still gets the hiccups on a daily basis.
We're not sure why, but I'm guessing its when he is hungry.

Getting on a routine
We are finally figuring out our routine. He takes two naps during the day at about 10 / 10:30 am to noon, just in time to wake to see daddy for lunch and then again in the afternoon from about 4 / 4:30 to 6:00 ish, again just in time to see daddy when he gets home. Then he crashes around 8 and sleeps till 10 just to wake up to eat. Back up at midnight to eat then 2 / 2:30 am; 4 / 4:30 am and again around 6 am. I'm getting used to it but am really going to have to start taking a nap with him. My eyes are heavy all day long and I really want to avoid the dark circles and bags:( Jake always brags about how good Jerry sleeps. He'll have his turn soon enough.

A BIG Weekend for Jerry
Jerry went on his first roadtrip to Holly to visit his Grandma and Grandpa Kalma. Grandpa hadn't seen Jerry yet and was too cute when we got there. It was a great moment to see my dad's expression when he saw his grandson for the first time. Jerry got to spend a lot of time in people's arms. Aunt Jenna came down from Fort Collins and he got to meet several of his other family members and a lot of our friends stopped by. It was a very big weekend for Jerry. He did really well on the way down there, sleeping the entire way only waking at stop lights. The trip home was unfortunately a different story.
We were all glad when we got home.
