Jerry Dean Holdren
On Friday, August 8, 2008 we were blessed with a son, Jerry Dean Holdren. He arrived at 2:59 p.m. and was a healthy 6 lbs 12 oz and 20 inches long. Jerry had a full head of light brown almost blonde hair. His eyes are a beautiful blue right now but that could always change. We are hoping he has his daddy's eyes. He has big hands and feet and really long fingers and toes. He's just beautiful and perfect in every way. It was truly an amazing experience. The labor lasted 16 hours and was worth every second to finally have him here in our arms. I had a great support team with me. Jake was great. He stayed by my side the entire time. My mom drove up and arrived around 11:00 am, just in time for the real fun. We also had a Doula, Kourtney, who really helped me stayed as focused as I possibly could. We stayed one night in the hospital and every cry or whimper would startle me and Jake. We couldn't wait to bring our new family home. It's amazing how much more complete we feel by having him here. What a Blessing!
