Making Messes

Jerry loves getting in the cabinets at Grandma Kalma's.  He doesn't want to play with much, just empty the cabinet then move on to something else.

Going Up the Stairs

Jerry goes up the stairs really fast.  We have to keep an eye on him because he is so fast.  I don't know what I am going to do when he starts walking.  I'm in for some good exercise then.  He will be all over the place.

Playing Around

Look at those blue eyes.

Jerry has the most beautiful big blue eyes.  He loves to chew on straps to anything...his shoes, carseat, high chair.

Into Everything

Jerry can now get into all of the kitchen cabinets so I cleaned one out just for him.  Although once I put his toys in it he wasn't interested in it very long.  He then wanted a different cabinet.  He always wants what he shouldn't have.  

9 Months Old

Jerry turned 9 months yesterday.  

He still weighs 20.5 lbs, is 29 in long and his head measures 17 3/4.  

Thursday night Jake had him in the basement playing and Jerry decided he wanted to come upstairs so he started climbing.  We have only let him climb up 3 steps before we get him down but this time Jake stood behind him and let him go to see how far he could go and he came all the way up both flights of stairs and I opened the gate and he crawled through.  We need to start teaching him how to go down them so he doesn't just roll down.

On Thursday he also stood alone for about 3 seconds.  He has mastered crawling now and still occasionally army crawls.  He pulls himself up on everything and walks along the furniture really good.  He walks behind his walker really good and last night he figured out how to open the cabinets and drawers in the kitchen. 

I'm thinking he has done about everything except walk and I am sure he will be doing that soon.

Grandpas Buddy

Jerry loved riding the mower with Grandpa.

Loving the Outdoors

Jerry loved to play on the mower.  I'm sure Daddy will let him mow our yard a few times :-)

Rocks and Dirt

Jerry loved to play in the rocks.  It was a whole new texture.  At first he was just picking them up and throwing them down then he started putting them in his mouth.

Harley and Jerry

Jerry and Harley became pretty good friends over the weekend.  They even shared a chew toy...Jerry chewed on one end of some sunglasses and Harley chewed on the other end.
