My boys

Daddy made Jerry's day by putting him on the motorcycle and starting it up. Jerry loves the loud noise. Daddy dressed him up in his work clothes so they could tinker in the garage. He looks pretty cute in his overalls. Soon Jerry will be inseparable from his daddy.

Halloween

Jerry was a dragon for Halloween...and the cutest one ever. We took him to Cory and Kourtneys so he could see the kids. He just kept staring at them trying to figure out who/what they were. We also took him to a few of the neighbors and got to see a few scary yards. One of our neighbors went all out this year with is yard and he even dressed up. He sat outside like a prop and scared all of the kids. It was pretty creepy. You could hear kids screaming every time they went to his house.

Jerry did really good. His daddy even taught him how to growl like a dragon. It was a late night for him. He loved watching the trick or treaters come up to the house. It was hard to pry him from the door.

Unfortunately, he woke up the next morning with a yucky cough. He acts perfectly fine but has a cough thats deep in his chest. I don't feel too great either so we are going to be bumming it this week so we get better before we go to Holly.

Thanks for my Halloween Card

Thanks Grandpa and Grandma Kalma for my funny card and p.j.'s.
Unfortunately the first video of him opening the card didn't work so I put it back in the envelope and gave it to him again in this video. He loved it. He had to show it to daddy and he did his little dance to it. He started this little dance move that we call Happy Feet. He moves his feet back and forth very fast. I think you can see part of it in the video. It's cute.

Playing in the yard

It has been awhile since I have posted anything...sorry Grandma's & Grandpa's.
Jerry got to play in the yard the other day since it finally warmed up a little. He had fun picking the flowers and trying to eat them. On Saturday we had Kourtney's kids over, Medaris, Kerigan and Lainie. Jerry loves playing with them. We got to carve pumpkins together and went to the park and they had fun riding all of Jerry's BIG toys (all of his toys that he is too little for). It was a fun day.

Jerry has started to say new words. He says Dada very clearly and finally started to say Mama. He tries to say pumpkin, kitty, diaper, flower, chicken and antelope. All big words but you wouldn't know what he was saying unless he is pointing at it. He is such a sweet boy. He loves to give kisses. Just recently he has started shaking his head no when you ask for a kiss and then he smiles and gives you a kiss. He is also becoming a picky eater. He shakes his head no when he doesn't want to eat it (which is often). The only time I can get him to eat good is if he gets to feed himself with his spoon or fork - so we are really working on that. It's a little messy right now.

My little fish...

Happy Birthday Grandpa

Happy Birthday Grandpa!!!
I Love you!!!

A Week in Holly

Jerry and I spent a week in Holly while Daddy went to the mountains to fish. It was Holly's fair weekend so we took Jerry to the parade. He got to see a lot of horses and tractors and enjoyed Grandma feeding him watermelon.
We didn't make it out to the animals because Jerry had to go home for a nap. We ended up leaving Grandpa to babysit so mom and I could go shopping. Dad said Jerry woke up 5 minutes after we left but thankfully he fell back asleep on Grandpa's shoulder. When we got back Grandma took over.
It was a really nice week. We got to spend time with Aunt Amber and Uncle Josh. Sorry I didn't get any photos. I really need to get better at that. Jerry got to play with his friend Tristen at Grandma's office while Amber colored my hair. It's a dark brown which will be really nice for fall.

Of course Jerry got to play outside a lot and with Harley. Jerry was consumed with putting things in Harley's mouth. First it was feeding him rocks, then giving him water from his wet hands, then the ball and then finally dog food. Jerry of course had to try the dog food too, just to make sure it tasted okay for Harley to eat.

We took a road trip early on Sunday morning (about 2 a.m.) to go to Colorado Springs for a sunrise wedding. Thankfully Jerry slept most of the way. Of course when we got there he didn't want to sit still - who can blame him. So we walked around most of the time while the wedding went on (it was an outdoor wedding). We got to see a lot of family on my moms side that we normally don't get to.

Jake came home on Monday. He had a great trip and caught a lot of fish. He was a little scruffy and looked/smelled like a mountain man. When Jerry saw him he was a little scared and cried when Jake picked him up. He wasn't sure about all that hair on dads face.

Jerry and the Grasshopper

Grandma caught a grasshopper and gave it to Jerry.
He had a lot of fun picking it up and throwing it down.

Wildlife in the backyard.

This morning there was a deer in the backyard and then the turkeys came up to the windows to check out what was going on inside.

Being Silly

Jerry touching all of the flowers.

Jerry dumped all of his snacks on the floor then scooted around on his tummy picking them up with his mouth.

Smelling the Flowers

Aunt Tammy taught Jerry how to stop and smell the flowers. Every time we are outside now he has to touch all of the flowers and smell them. He makes the funniest face and wrinkles his nose.
This child loves to be outside.

Fun Weekend

Daddy, Aunt Amber and Jerry

We went to Holly for the weekend to celebrate Uncle Josh and Aunt Amber's marriage. Delvin & Cynthia gave them a reception Saturday night. Amber and Josh looked great and there was a big turnout for the party. We got to see so many people we haven't seen in a long time. That's the nice thing about small towns, most everyone was there. Jerry had lots of fun even though I think he was the youngest kid there. He entertained a lot of people. He wouldn't sit still so he was running all over the place and liked chasing their dog.

He loves being outside and of course had so much fun playing in Grandma and Grandpa's backyard. I love it because it's fenced in and he can just run everywhere and I can't lose him. That boy is a mover! He had lots of fun playing with Harley and even got to play with the water hose...probably for the last time this summer. Aunt Tammy brought over a tricycle that has a handle we can push him with so Jerry got to ride it all over the yard.

He has been teething lately and sadly I think only for one tooth. You would think he's getting a dozen the way he's been acting/feeling. Poor little guy. His top front, left tooth finally broke through. And of course he's really biting now and it hurts. He bites, pinches and hits. But of course it's all out of love, right. Ugh, I don't like this stage.

Some big news is that I think Daddy has finally talked me into getting a dog! Yep, an indoor, family, hunting dog. He's trying to find the perfect lab puppy. I know it will make our little boy so happy but I'm not looking forward to another animal. Especially one that chews on furniture. It will be interesting but fun. Hopefully the cats won't mind:) Jake is so excited. He has wanted a hunting dog for so long. I like seeing my boys happy.
