Look at the Airplanes

Jerry has become pretty popular with our neighbors.  He wants to know where Lonnie is or what he is doing everyday.  So Lonnie invited Jerry to go see the airplanes at his work.  Lonnie works at Yingling Aviation which is located at the airport.  We spent a few hours there on Thursday and Lonnie gave us a tour.  We got to see lots of airplanes.  Jerry loved it!  He got to sit in the pilots seat which he thought was pretty cool and we got to see several airplanes land and take off.  Lonnie even said we could schedule a day that he would take us flying.  Thursday was extremely windy so we have to wait for a nicer day in Kansas, which could be awhile.

After we checked out all of the airplanes Lonnie had a surprise for Jerry in his office, some cool toy airplanes and a landing strip to go with them.  He also got to go to the gift shop and pick out a couple more airplanes and they gave him a fighters helmet.  It was a very exciting afternoon for that little boy. We have been very blessed to have such great neighbors that love Jerry.
