Jerry loves riding his strider bike (the bike with no peddles) but he's getting bigger and Dad wanted him to have a nice bike. They went to the bike store and Jerry rode this bike (but red) around the store and loved it. He wanted it so bad. So for his birthday we surprised him with the same bike (but blue).
I want to say he really loved it but he thought it was a different bike since it wasn't the red one and was a little sad he didn't get it. It was hard to convince him that it was the same bike. He does good riding it on the sidewalk but doesn't like going down the driveway since it's a little steep and he's not used to the brakes. At one point he even told me he didn't want it and I could take the bike to Goodwill. (I've told him that if he doesn't take good care of his toys then we would take them to Goodwill so other kids could have them). He's slowly doing better on it with more practice and decided he better keep it.
