We celebrated Jerry's 4th birthday with dinosaurs. His favorite is the triceratops so it made the top of his birthday cake. He kept telling everyone he was getting a BIG dinosaur cake. So I made my first double layer chocolate cake with homemade chocolate icing. I also made some french vanilla cupcakes with white and chocolate icing. I will post recipes soon. They were really yummy!
I found chocolate rocks at the Nifty Nut House and the kids loved them. Today Jerry saw some rocks I have in a vase and asked if they had chocolate in them. I wonder how many kids will eat real rocks after this party???? We also had a BIG dinosaur make some tracks up the front steps to the party. Jerry asked several times where the dinosaur was.
We had a few friends over and our neighbors. My parents, Jeremy, Briana & Baby Ruben, Jenna and Mike also made it for the party.
It was a very special day for this little boy.
I can't believe my baby is already 4.
We had our dino-cake and ice cream-o-saurus and then opened presents.
He really loves all of the gifts he received. Thank you everyone!!!
And then came the water fun!
This was Jerry's gift from some friends and it was a HUGE hit, with everyone.
I even went down it a couple of times.
It was a great party.
